Fanuc alarm PS0001: TH ERROR

What it means
A parity (TH) error was detected in a character read from an input device such as an RS-232 port during program input. The bad character and its distance from the current block can be checked on the diagnostics screen. This is almost always a communication problem rather than a control fault.
Likely causes
- Noisy or damaged RS-232 cable
- Incorrect baud rate or I/O parameter settings
- Ground loop or electrical noise near the serial link
- Faulty I/O device or interface board
