What it means
The compensation plane (G17/G18/G19) was changed while cutter or tool-nose radius compensation was active. The plane must remain fixed until compensation is cancelled with G40.
Likely causes
- Plane change programmed between G41 and G40
- Macro or subprogram switching planes without cancelling comp first
