What it means
The F word for the rigid tapping cycle is zero, or F is far too small relative to S, meaning the commanded lead makes cutting impossible. Feed must correspond to a physically cuttable lead (pitch).
Likely causes
- F omitted or zero in G84/G74
- Lead (F) much smaller than S permits
- Pitch value in mm vs TPI confusion
