What it means
Although M29 was issued for rigid tapping, the rigid-mode DI signal (diagnostic G061.0) was not ON during execution of the G84/G74 block. This is a PMC/ladder-side issue: trace why the ladder is not asserting the signal.
Likely causes
- PMC ladder not turning on rigid mode DI (G61.0)
- M-code decoding issue in the ladder
- Machine-tool-builder logic gating the signal on spindle state
