What it means
The EOR (End of Record) code was encountered in the middle of a block — classically seen when a drip-fed file is truncated or a transfer ends early, since the % terminator/EOR arrives prematurely.
Likely causes
- Truncated program file during DNC/drip-feed
- Premature end of RS-232 transmission
- File tail containing % mid-block after corruption
