Fanuc alarm SP0754: ABNORMAL TORQUE

What it means
An abnormal load was detected on the spindle motor, indicating torque demand far beyond normal operating levels, typically caused by a stall or crash. Unlike most spindle alarms this one can be cancelled with RESET once the cause is removed. Repeated trips under normal cuts indicate a real increase in mechanical drag.
Likely causes
- Crash or tool/workpiece collision loading the spindle
- Worn spindle bearings or seized gearbox/clutch
- Brake on the spindle not releasing
- Binding tooling or pull-stud damage
