Fanuc alarm SP9001: SSPA:01 MOTOR OVERHEAT

What it means
The thermostat embedded in the spindle motor winding operated because the internal temperature exceeded the specified level. The motor has been run above its continuous rating or its cooling is impaired. The alarm latches until the winding cools and the condition is cleared.
Likely causes
- Sustained overload or overly aggressive cutting duty cycle
- Blocked or failed motor cooling airflow
- High ambient temperature in the electrical/motor enclosure
- Faulty thermostat or damaged feedback cable wiring
