Fanuc alarm SP9005: SSPA:05 CONTROL POWER SUPPLY FUSE BLOWN

What it means
The fuse feeding the control power supply of the spindle amplifier (AF2/AF3 circuit) has blown. The control board lost its operating voltage source, so the amplifier cannot run its processor and communication logic and reports the condition to the CNC.
Likely causes
- Voltage surge or lightning-induced transient on control wiring
- Internal short circuit on the SPM control printed-circuit board
- Aged fuse failing under normal load
