What it means
Motor speed exceeded the permissible maximum (about 115% of the rated value), or accumulated position deviation indicated runaway motion. The amplifier halts output immediately to protect the rotor and bearings.

- Erratic speed command from the CNC or PMC
- Speed feedback loss or corruption causing false overspeed
- Wrong motor model or maximum speed parameters after a swap
- Regenerative braking failure letting speed run away during deceleration
