Excessive current sensed in SPM DC link - power semiconductor or motor short

- SPM transistor/IPM failure
- spindle motor winding short
- incorrect motor initialization parameters
- winding-switch contactor timing fault
Triage note: Confirm motor insulation and phase sequence first; alarm immediately at excitation with good motor = SPM replacement
