Fanuc alarm SP9023: ER OFFSET ALARM

What it means
The offset of the ER signal exceeded the allowable range at rest. The ER channel participates in the amplifier's sensor-signal processing chain, and an out-of-limit resting level means the associated measurement circuitry can no longer deliver valid readings for position/speed evaluation.
Likely causes
- Degraded ER detection circuitry on the SPM control board
- Sensor wiring fault injecting offset into the channel
- Component aging amplified by heat cycles
