What it means
Overcurrent was detected in the input/converter circuit of the power supply module. The PSM's protection tripped because current through its power devices exceeded safe limits, indicating an internal power-stage fault or a downstream short.
Likely causes
- Failed IPM/transistor stack in the PSM
- DC link short or damaged capacitor bank
- Ground fault in attached spindle/servo circuits
Triage note: Check insulation of the whole drive train before powering a new PSM.
