What it means
Abnormality number 1 was detected in the ITP interface signal, the dedicated NC-amplifier transmission path carrying control words and status. A violation of expected signal timing or level broke the handshake.
Likely causes
- Noise on the serial spindle interface
- Deteriorating interface transceivers on CNC or SPM
- Loose interface cabling/connectors
