What it means
This alarm arises only when Dual Check Safety is used: the connection status/configuration of the spindle amplifier does not correspond to the hardware setting held in the safety configuration. The independent safety monitor and the main channel disagree about what drive hardware is present, so spindle operation is inhibited until the discrepancy is resolved.
Likely causes
- Spindle amplifier added, removed or exchanged without updating the safety configuration
- Incorrect module arrangement in the safety parameter set
- Failure of the CPU card or SPM control board corrupting identification exchange
