What it means
The overall signal from the external spindle sensor is abnormal: amplitude, waveform or timing of its output channels violates expected limits. The amplifier cannot trust spindle-angle data derived from it, so functions relying on the sensor are blocked.

- Contaminated or damaged sensor face/target
- Oil ingress into the sensor connector
- Marginal cabling/shielding letting noise distort the signal
