What it means

The clock alarm occurred inside the built-in serial pulse coder, meaning the internal timing/reference clock used for serial data conversion failed its self-check. This is an internal encoder hardware fault; the encoder cannot produce trustworthy position data while it persists. Re-seating the feedback cable rules out connection issues, but recurrence means the pulsecoder must be replaced.
