Fanuc alarm SV0364: SOFT PHASE ALARM (INT)

What it means

The digital servo software examined data from the built-in pulse coder and found the phase data abnormal. Phase data carries the absolute position information within one revolution, so corruption here makes closed-loop commutation and positioning untrustworthy. Check the feedback cable first; if the alarm follows the axis through a cable swap, the encoder itself is failing.
