What it means

The built-in pulse coder reported a count miss: internally counted pulses disagreed with expected values during rotation. This indicates the encoder's counting logic lost steps, often due to marginal signal integrity or failing internal electronics rather than mechanical issues, because the count happens inside the encoder. Cable reseating is worth trying, otherwise plan on encoder replacement.
