Fanuc alarm SV0417: ILL DGTL SERVO PARAMETER

What it means
A digital servo parameter setting is invalid. When diagnostic No. 203 bit 4 = 1 the servo software rejected a parameter (identify via DGN No. 352); when 0, the CNC side rejected it (see DGN No. 280). Most common offenders are motor model No. 2020 out of range, direction No. 2022 not set to ±111, or zero/negative values in speed/position pulse parameters No. 2023/2024.

- Motor number (No. 2020) invalid for connected motor/software
- Direction parameter No. 2022 missing or not ±111
- Speed/position pulse counts (No. 2023/2024) zero or negative
- Parameters loaded from an incompatible machine
