Fanuc alarm SV0463: SEND SLAVE DATA FAILED

What it means
Due to an FSSB communication error, the servo software on the CNC side could not receive correct data from the slave (amplifier). Functionally the reverse flow of SV0462, with the same optical-link causes. Clean and reseat fibers, then check amplifier power stability; persistent errors implicate the FSSB interface section of one amplifier.
Likely causes
- Dirty/damaged optical fiber connectors
- Marginal FSSB transmitter/receiver on an amplifier
- Amplifier power dip resetting its FSSB node
- Incorrect fiber routing (excessive bend radius)
