What it means
During traversing the NCK determined that a software limit would be exceeded, typically because a handwheel overlay, work offset or coordinate transformation shifted the effective traversing range after block preparation. The block stops at its end and NC start remains inhibited for the channel until RESET.
Likely causes
- Work offset (G54 etc.) or preset moves axis outside limits
- Handwheel/DRF overlay active during program run
- Incorrect MD36100/36110 software limit values after mechanical change
