What it means
A traversing block became effective with no feedrate: neither the block nor any earlier modal block supplies a valid F value. Feed values can also become ineffective after feed-type changeovers such as G94/G95. Program a suitable F word before the motion.
Likely causes
- F never programmed at program start
- Feed lost after G94/G95 (mm/min vs mm/rev) switchover
- Subroutine relying on a caller's feed that was never set
