What it means
The spindle currently declared as master spindle (via SETMS or machine data) appears simultaneously as a path axis in the same context. An axis can serve either as rotating master spindle for threading or constant cutting speed, or as an interpolated path axis - not both at once. Reassign the master spindle role or remove the conflicting axis command.
Likely causes
- SETMS applied to a spindle later commanded as a linear axis
- Multi-spindle turning program mixing spindle roles
- Gear/positioning command colliding with master spindle declaration
