What it means

A non-modal chamfer (CHF/CHR) or corner radius (RND) was programmed in a block that contains no axis movement. Corner elements modify the transition between two traversing blocks; without motion there is no corner to break. Attach the keyword to a block with actual path motion.

Likely causes

• CHF=/RND= written on a block containing only F, M or T words
• Template line left empty of coordinates
