What it means

The first software limit switch was approached in plus direction (148*) or minus direction (152*); if PLC signal '2nd Software Limit Switch Active' is set, the second limit pair applies instead. Active only after successful reference-point approach; jog away in the opposite direction and verify the limit machine data.

Likely causes

• Programmed traverse beyond stored workpiece limits
• Software-limit machine data wrong after tooling/fixture change
• Incomplete reference approach placing limits at wrong coordinates
