What it means

Notification alarm issued after a power failure or uncontrolled power-off: the NCK restored persistent data during the subsequent power-up, reporting how many restoration steps were performed, how many of them were machine data, and how many errors occurred. As long as the error count (%3) is zero there is no negative effect. A non-zero error count means some persistent data could not be recovered reliably.

Likely causes

• Mains dropout or emergency-off during writing of persistent data
• Battery-backed memory write interrupted (weak battery plus power loss)
• Excessive write activity to the persistent file system (check MD18232 log settings)
• File system inconsistency after repeated uncontrolled shutdowns
