What it means
The zero-drift correction the NC would need to apply to hold the drive at zero setpoint exceeds the permitted drift limit. Analog drive electronics drift with age and temperature; traversing stays blocked (green 'position not yet reached' LED) until drift compensation is redone.
Likely causes
- Aged analog drive regulator electronics (SIMODRIVE 611-A)
- Temperature drift after long idle periods
- Drift compensation not performed after drive swap
