Siemens alarm 25042: Axis %1 standstill monitoring during torque/force limitation

What it means

While a torque/force limitation was active on the axis, standstill monitoring detected that the axis moved out of its position window anyway. A limited drive frequently cannot hold the static load, so the alarm points at load versus reduced torque rather than at the monitoring itself.

Likely causes

• torque/force limitation left active unintentionally (program, synchronous action or PLC)
