What it means

Active and passive measuring systems report positions deviating more than the tolerance (MD 36500 ENC_DIFF_TOL). Since both systems measure the same axis motion, a large divergence reveals mechanical or data problems rather than random noise.

• ball screw pitch error/spindle stretch not compensated relative to the scale
• wrong scale offset or grid distance data after encoder exchange
• one of the two encoders delivering corrupted counts
