Siemens alarm 300100: Axis %1 drive %2 drive power failure

What it means
One or more 611D drives lost their power supply (DC link or electronics supply) during operation; the NC detected drives dropping off-line due to loss of power.
Likely causes
- mains/line supply dip or phase loss feeding the infeed module
- infeed module (I/R) tripped or failed internally
- short circuit on the 600 V DC link bus (often a failed power module)
- loose DC-link bus bars or burnt pre-charge contacts
Triage note: If NO LED lights on the infeed diagnostic panel although mains is present, suspect a short on the 600 V bus: loosen DC-link links module-by-module starting from the last (right-hand) module; the module whose removal clears the short is usually the failed power module.
