Siemens alarm 4024: Invalid axis configuration due to missing axis container machine data

What it means
The NCK could not build the axis configuration because axis-container machine data is missing. According to the Diagnostics Guide this error can only occur as the result of a communication error, which is indicated separately by further alarms. The NC start-up aborts until the machine data is available again.
Likely causes
- Communication failure between NCK components during power-up
- Incomplete transfer of commissioning/machine data
- Underlying bus or memory fault indicated by companion alarms
