Siemens alarm 430000: F diagnostic: PLC project inconsistent

What it means
The F (fail-safe) diagnostics could not execute because the PLC project is inconsistent or the configured NCU firmware version is unsupported for the F functionality loaded. Since fail-safe execution cannot be validated, the system treats run-up as invalid until a consistent project is present. Per Siemens the configured NCU firmware (TIA Portal) must be at least V4.8 and a consistent PLC project reloaded.
Likely causes
- Partially loaded or mixed-version F-compatible PLC project
- TIA Portal project compiled for newer firmware than the NCU runs
- Download interrupted leaving inconsistent F blocks
