Siemens alarm 61106: Number of or distance between circular elements incorrectly defined

What it means
The layout of holes or slots on a full circle is geometrically impossible with the given NUM (quantity) and INDA (angle) parameters, e.g. elements overlapping or not fitting the pitch circle. Affecting hole-pattern and slot cycles, the alarm halts the cycle before positioning starts. Re-parameterize quantity and angular spacing so the pattern closes correctly.
Likely causes
- NUM x INDA exceeds or falls short of the full-circle angle
- Angular spacing smaller than element width
- Pitch-circle radius too small for the number of elements
