What it means

Thermal i2t supervision of the power section is active: the module has been operated above its continuous load limit long enough that current/torque limitation kicks in. It is a warning (self-acknowledging, STOP VII) telling you the thermal budget, not the peak current setting, is exhausted.

Likely causes

• high-duty cycle with frequent reversals/accelerations
• pulse frequency above the planned value reducing usable current
• margins in P1260/P1261 set beyond the module's thermal reality
• undersized module for the axis
