What it means
The heatsink thermosensor of the 611U power section reported temperature beyond the shutdown limit; the drive executes a regenerative stop roughly 20 seconds after the preceding pre-alarm (warning 815) to protect the power section. Cooling deficiency and thermal duty beyond module rating are the usual stories.
Likely causes
- failed cabinet/module fan or blocked airflow path
- insufficient clearance above/below the module stack
- ambient temperature or installation altitude beyond planning limits
- pulse frequency set higher than the module rating permits
- undersized power section for the duty cycle
Triage note: Always fix airflow/duty before upsizing the module - a bigger module in the same hot cabinet repeats the trip.
