What it means

Link voltage exceeded upper limit P1163 (or the dynamic energy management ceiling P1153 from SW 13.1 when P1155 bit 0 is active). Braking energy cannot leave the bus fast enough through regeneration or the braking resistor.

Likely causes

• regenerative feedback unavailable (I/R fault, line condition, terminal 112 setup mode)
• braking resistor absent/open or undersized for the cycle
• load duty with excessive deceleration energy
• thresholds P1163/P1153 set too tight
