Siemens alarm 61601: Finished part diameter too small

What it means
An undercut or thread-recess cycle received a finished-part radius/diameter that is too small for the requested form. The alarm is raised by CYCLE94 and CYCLE96 when parameters SPD or DIATH describe an impossible geometry. Enlarge the finished diameter or adjust the undercut parameters.
Likely causes
- SPD/DIATH parameter inconsistent with blank size
- Undercut form selected does not fit the shaft diameter
- Diameter/radius mode mixed up in the parameters
