What it means

For helical plunging into a pocket the programmed helix radius is below the minimum that the cutter and remaining material allow. The helix would cut with an invalid engagement condition. Increase the helix radius or use a different entry strategy.

Likely causes

• Helix parameter smaller than cutter radius plus allowance
• Entry hole/pre-drill diameter too small for the chosen helix
• Copy from a program written for a larger cutter
