What it means
One or more software options were activated in the machine data but no license key is present to prove purchase, with %1 giving the number of non-licensed options. The control keeps count of unlicensed activations and reports them at power-up. Functionality may be restricted and Siemens requires either buying the options or deactivating them.
Likely causes
- Options switched on during commissioning without entering license keys
- License keys lost after CF card/HMI replacement or NCK reset
- Trial licenses expired and converted to unlicensed state
