What it means
Hardware overcurrent trip in the power unit - current exceeded shutdown threshold (typically ~2x rated).
Likely causes
- output short circuit or earth fault in motor cable
- motor winding fault
- IGBT bridge failure inside motor module/power module
- incorrect motor data or missing line reactor
- motor oversized relative to the unit / wrong parameters
Triage note: Read fault value r0949 (measured current) and megger motor+cables BEFORE refitting any module; instant retrip under no load after external checks = dead power stage.
