Siemens alarm F30017: Power unit: Hardware current limit has responded too often

What it means

The per-phase hardware current limiter (single events reported as warnings A30031/A30032/A30033) has tripped so often that the drive now shuts down with OFF2. On infeeds this typically means incorrect control parameters, overload, missing/wrong line reactor or a defective unit; on Motor Modules excessive load, cable faults or a failing power stage. The binary fault value names the phases involved (U/V/W).

• motor load too high or repeated acceleration into blockage
• motor cable short-circuit, ground fault or overlength
• incorrectly parameterized current/speed controller
